Dear Trinity Family,

It's with real excitement and enthusiasm that we introduce and welcome you to be a part of "Trinity Articles" - a new resource we are making available to our church community. These articles will be regularly released in partnership with our Spiritual Formation Ministry, led by Sue Pyke.

At Trinity, we view formation in the gospel as nearly synonymous with discipleship. Discipleship itself doesn't just happen. It's the choice to align all of you with all of Him. Apprenticeship under Jesus is the decision to walk in step with the Holy Spirit, daily indexing your heart toward Christ. And this redirecting of our affections and desires happens as we form, re-form, and counter-form our thinking and practices along the ways of Jesus. This, in short, is spiritual formation. It's the process of becoming more like Jesus for the good of others. It's the process of shaping a life around the things of God.

The forthcoming Trinity Articles will be a way to introduce to our community some of the foundational aspects of apprenticing under Jesus. Sue Pyke will be leading us this summer with a 4-part series designed to set the groundwork for where we're heading as a church. We have exciting plans related to spiritual formation coming this fall - and we'd like to invite you to be a part now by subscribing to receive our articles each month!
