Lori Eppich

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY DIRECTOR

Born in Salt Lake City, Lori was raised in a 7th generation family tradition of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS/Mormon) where music, faith, and service were central to her upbringing. Her family moved more than 12 times by the time she entered 9th grade which was the catalyst for flexibility, anxiety, and intellectual curiosity that helped Lori to become a truth seeker and joy junkie.

After meeting her husband Chris at Brigham Young University, they married and had two children, Andrew and Lillie. They settled in San Diego, where they enrolled their kids in a small classical Christian school. For the first time, Lori encountered a community flourishing in Biblical faith, and while initially she sought to evangelize others towards her LDS beliefs, she began to discover much about the historical tradition of Christian faith and the Bible that she didn’t know she had been unaware of her entire life. In January 2020, Lori was born again, radically shifting her beliefs and dedicating her life to sharing the Gospel of the Triune God.

Today, Lori is overjoyed to serve as the Children’s Director for Trinity Kids, combining her passion for the Bible with her background in education, special education, and speech pathology. She is thrilled to be in a role that allows her to serve, teach, and share the Gospel with children. Outside of work, she’s a Zumba enthusiast, make-up artist, Biblecast host, and thrifted clothing flipper. Above all, she loves gathering with others to talk, pray, eat, study the Bible, dance, and worship together.
