Young Cho
RULING ELDER
Young is a “1.5’ Generation Korean-American who immigrated to the US at a young age: Much like our Christian life, saddling two worlds. He has attended church regularly since immigrating to the US, but only after freshmen year in college was his heart drawn to God’s Word and was changed.
Although Young was born in Korea, most of his life has been in San Diego with a brief couple of years in Hawaii. He attended UC San Diego locally where he met his wife, Soo, while involved in a Bible Study together. Young has been working as a software engineer since graduating college and did a few stints for startups.
Much like his career, Young has been involved in multiple church plants over the years and has served in various roles. As an Elder at Trinity, he believes “people matter” and is a believer of Trinity’s mission statement of making and growing disciples of Christ.
In his free time, Young enjoys traveling with his family and eating out locally. He and Soo has two “adult-ish” children – one done with college and one still in college.
